This specialisation is addressed to the patients who want to have healthy, well-aligned teeth, as better harmonised with the physiognomy and, not least of all, which are as white as possible. We grant special attention to all the matters related to dentition.

TOOTH WHITENING

Certain food pigments (coffee, tobacco, tea, red wine, etc), as well as tooth-intrinsic colorants (tetracycline, excessive fluorine) may lead to unwanted changes in their colours. In order to obtain a satisfactory nuance, a rigorous hygiene and even the professional cleaning are not enough. Fortunately, modern dentistry brings solutions, some of them being very fast and accessible. The tooth whitening system with the ZOOM plasma lamp has remarkable results in only one hour of treatment in the dentistry practice. The procedure is harmless and lacking discomfort, and the reduced treatment time, as well as the very bright nuances obtained make it a very much wanted, especially by the patients for whom time is very precious and the "take home bleaching" systems are very tiresome. Moreover, lamp tooth-whitening is very useful and recommended in the case of events requiring a flawless smile in a very short time interval (marriages, parties, conferences, various high-life events).
The nuances obtained both through the "take home" systems, and through the "in office" ones are 8 to 10 times brighter than the initial ones, and the result is guaranteed for 2 to 3 years.

CERAMIC VENEERS

The most physiognomic, but also the most delicate restorations, which imply millimetric tooth-polishing are performed by complex stratification techniques, on a refractory mass duplicate pattern, with various colour and transparency artifices.
The excellence as concerns dental aesthetics is given by the ceramic veneers used in the case of:

• Unaesthetic interdental spaces
• Minor and moderate dental “agglomeration”
• Reduced and average intrinsic colorations (tetracycline and fluorosis)
• Unaesthetic forms and dimensions of certain teeth
• Dental traumatisms or dental caries accompanied by moderate loss of dental substance
• Teeth with inhomogeneous and unpleasant surface structure

They are advantageous because:

• They need minor polishing of the exterior tooth surface (0.6 mm)
• They preserve the teeth-vitality
• They are very physiognomic
• As they do not have metallic infrastructure, the restored teeth will not have dark shadows near the gums

• Absence of allergic reactions due to the dental ceramics BIOCOMPATIBILITY
• Gum careful handling during polishing, impression taking and cementing as the work limit can be placed in close vicinity to the gum (it does not require “burying” the work limit beneath the gum in order to mask it)

Teeth preparation, impression taking and veneer cementing are also extremely sophisticated procedures which require patient, dedicated and, above all, very qualified medical personnel in the field of dental aesthetics.

WHOLE CERAMICS

The computer-drilled whole ceramics systems are the result of the combination of two modern dentistry branches: Cosmetic dentistry and Digital dentistry. The whole ceramics procedures lead to aesthetic dental restorations which are identical to the neighbouring natural teeth. These systems are called CAD/CAM (computer aided design/computer aided manufacturing).

The CEREC 3D technology is used, this being the result of the collaboration of two German high tech companies in the field: Sirona (formerly known as Siemens Dental Systems) and VITA Zahnfabrik. Sirona is the device manufacturer and the collaboration with VITA led to “rounding off” the system with optimal materials, guaranteed by a long tradition in dental ceramics of over 80 years. All the VITA materials are EXCLUSIVELY manufactured in Germany and Switzerland.

Another reason for which we chose this system, besides the state-of-the-art technology, is that the results are guaranteed by 20 years of clinical experience, where only the manufacturing technology has been improved, the material remaining the same, passing the test of time and proving its effectiveness in the case of millions of patients.

The advantages of this unique system consist of:

• Perfect edge adjustment due to the laser scanning of the dental preparation.
• High resistance compared to other whole ceramics systems, determined by the computer software automatically adjusting the thickness and the material type to the operational loads of the respective area.
• Compared to other whole ceramics systems which only allow singular elements, CEREC provides the possibility to make bridgeworks due to the high resistance of the material.
