Together with the complications of the tooth caries, periodontosis is one of the most important causes for tooth loss. Up to not very long ago, the patients suffering of periodontal disease were labelled as untreatable and the dentistry treatments only aimed at delaying the moment of extraction.

Thanks to the latest discoveries in the field, the periodontal affection is subject, in our clinic, to a complex, individualised treatment, depending on every single clinical form and, in harmony with the patient’s wishes, thus insuring that the time for the teeth staying on the arch is extended.

The periodontopathy assumes an interdisciplinary solution, but we also need the collaboration of the patients, whom we advise to come to the dentist as soon as they notice symptoms such as gingival inflammation.
